American Hillclimb Licensing & Registration

 

We are excited to announce that we will be utilizing an upgraded licensing and registration system starting with the 2024 season called ProReg. This will have a completely new look and feel compared to what was used in previous seasons. Please take the time to familiarize yourself with the new system and submit your registration as soon as possible. The following link will direct you to the registration page ProReg License Portal.

 

IMPORTANT: Please renew your AMA membership PRIOR to entering the registration process. All license holders must hold a valid AMA membership through October 31, 2024. You will not be able to complete registration until that step has been completed. The following link will direct you to the 

AMA Renewal Page.

 

The following information will help guide you through the registration process:

1. AMA Membership: Make sure your AMA Membership is valid through October 31, 2024. If it is not, please renew your AMA membership PRIOR to entering the registration process. You will not be able to complete registration until that step has been completed. The following link will direct you to the AMA Renewal Page.

2. Create a ProReg Account: Go to the ProReg Digital Licensing portal and click the Register button to create your ProReg account. Each person applying for a License must have their own ProReg account which is created using their own email address. After Registering, please check your email and click Confirm Email to verify your account.

3. Login to ProReg: After clicking the Register button, you will need to enter the same email address and password that you used to Register and click Continue to login. ProReg will be where you will update your personal rider profile, purchase rider licenses and sign up for events. You will also be able to log back in at any time throughout the season to update your sponsors, process entries for individual events, update your headshot photo, etc.

4. Apply for a License: Review the list of available licenses carefully and click Apply to begin the application process. Be sure to select the correct license. 

5. Complete Your Profile and Sign Waivers: For the 2024 season you will be asked to create your profile, which will then be stored for all future seasons and license applications. When your profile is complete, ProReg will verify that your AMA membership is active and valid through October 31, 2024. After that, you will be asked to review each waiver and then provide your digital signature.

6. Upload the Required Documents: After the waivers have been signed, riders will be asked to upload the following documents: 

   1. Birth Certificate (new riders)

   2. Driver’s license/Passport

   3. Headshot (to be used for credential) No Sunglasses or Hats

   4. Insurance Card (Front/Back)

   5. ImPACT receipt (must be valid through the entire season)

   6. IRS Form W-9

7.  Licensing and Credential Fees for 2024:

   1. Available Individual Licenses

      1. American Hillclimb - Rider License – Hillclimb (this license covers all classes)

      2. American Hillclimb - Rider License – 450 Provisional (Allows amateur rider to compete in up to three AHC races and maintain amateur status)

      3. American Hillclimb - Season Crew License

You will have to purchase an AMA Racing Credential before you can register for any Pro classes. Once you apply and receive your confirmation from AMA (1-2 days max), you will need to come back to race ready and enter your "AMA Hardcard ID Number" to be able to move on to registering for classes. This number can be found in your AMA Profile tab on the AMA website or in the confirmation email that will be sent to you. 

While registering with the AMA if you have health insurance and enter it into the system, you will be able to receive supplemental insurance through the AMA for any injury that you may sustain at an American Hillclimb West event. This is a huge benefit!
