Amateur and Pitbike racing has returned to the Washington Nitro Nationals May 5-7 2023. We want you to come out and climb! Altered Class Rules:
The Altered trophy classes are designed to be an affordable step between stock motorcycles and full-blown, pro-level bikes. Altered bikes may be extended as long as you wish. These classes DO allow rubber paddle tires on the rear, but NO steel cleats or bolts or claws or screws are allowed.

Any type of gasoline, including leaded or oxygenated race gas IS allowed, but NOS, or Nitromethane fuels are NOT allowed.

Engines MUST be normally-aspirated; blowers, and super-chargers and turbo-chargers are NOT allowed.

Tether (dead-man) switches ARE required.

Riders MUST wear helmets, gloves and boots. Goggles, chest protectors and riding pants are strongly suggested.
Stock Class Rules:
The Stock trophy classes are for stock motorcycles that do NOT have extended swingarms or wheelbases. These classes do NOT allow rubber or metal paddle tires on the rear either, just stock or cut knobby tires, and no steel cleats or bolts or claws or screws are allowed.
